It's as simple as taking the test too early.


Maybe you think you got pregnant a month ago, late period, go in for a test. But in reality you only got pregnant a few weeks ago.





I got one when I thought I was 5 weeks along, but ended up being around 2 weeks, so there wasn't enough HCG in my system.





A lot of women KNOW when they are pregnant, positive test or not.


If you're in doubt, wait a few weeks. Take another. And some HPT's as well. There are a few reasons your test could have a false negative.Has anyone ever gotten a false negative blood test?
I don't think that's possible unless you tested too early which would mean that you weren't even pregnant yet. It can detect hcg as low as 0.17 and it needs to be above 5 to be considered positive. I highly doubt with that sensitivity it would be possible to have a false negative.
Sorry i haven't known any1 to get a false blood test.
