Seems like the
Republicans are ADMITTING that 90% of Americans are not paying more taxes
under Obama administration.
The wealthy
people are more important
than the rest of America
to Republicans?
Is it a false argument? Is the argument that raised taxes on people above $250.000 a year hurts ';small'; business a false argument?
My job is to work with small businessman. I know a ton of them. Very few make $250,000.00 per year, and the few that do are not dumb enough to pay themselves that much.Is the argument that raised taxes on people above $250.000 a year hurts ';small'; business a false argument?
Yes, it is a bogus premise. The GOP finally realizes that their policies of the middle/working classes subsidizing their wealthy donors are dead, but they continue grasping at straws. Thankfully, the GOP is so marginalized that no one is listening to them when they make an attempt to use small businesses as a cover for their own economic incompetence.
It's neither right nor wrong. It is a gross oversimplification of the issue. Most issues are not small enough to fit into a soundbite or between commercial breaks.
Who is impacted by tax increases or decreases at any level is a complicated issue. There are a lot of different kinds of people in this country.
Don't let political-speak persuade you that you fully grasp anything.
The average small business owner makes less than $250,000, so they're not affected by this, anyway.
Small businesses making $250,000 don't pay ';business taxes';. All the taxes from that business are filed on their personal income taxes,
therefore, more taxes on small business.
Amen Bob O. Yes it is a completely false argument.
It absolutely is.
Obama's plan includes tax cuts for small businesses coupled with tax credits for hiring people.
