True or false?A belief that everyone believes is true cannot be false.?
False.
Have you been to a grocery or book store, anyplace that sells yellow journalism? If anything they report on was true, then your statement would be true. Just because some people believe that space aliens landed at Elizabeth Taylor's house, that look like Britney, and have been photographed driving around L.A. with Jose Canseco, doesn't make it true.A belief that everyone believes is true cannot be false.?
True..... so long as no one disbelieves, the question of falsity does not arise at all. Our truth is nothing more than our firm and consistent belief, which is what arises when everyone genuinely believes without any exception.
False. A belief is always false, knowledge is true opinion. Faith...well, that's something else!0!
Good luck!
That is false. Just because everyone believes that it's true cannot change the truth that this belief is false %26amp; vice versa. The same way that just because everyone does something which is wrong makes it OK or right. However, it could be an excuse for u to belive that belief or a way to convince urself that it's true, but it cannot change it's reality.
False. ';A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it.'; -- Oscar Wilde
Truth and falsehood are human concepts based on our own perceptions and knowledge. When our perceptions and knowledge change, then truth and falsehood will change as well.
The medieval Christian world believed that the universe was a geocentric system until it was proved that our local system was heliocentric and, in turn, part of a much larger universe. Just because everybody at the time believed in the geocentric model didn't mean that it was true.
False. Cults belong to that category.
it is False 2 believe that every one believes the truth
False.
You never study history ? Galileo ?
Just because everyone believe Earth is flat doesn't means it is true.
Before Galileo discovered that the Earth is round, everyone believe the Earth is flat ^-^
';...for Muslims, the religious dimension of existence extends to encompass the whole of life. As such, all issues of social, economic or political significance must ultimately be related to the basic Islamic conceptions and shown to be in accord therewith in order to gain unreserved public acceptance and support.';
In other words, what is not accepted by the majority cannot be accepted as policy, as law, as shura, and this has been the fundamental throwback in most Islamic nations.
The UAE, Bahrain, and Qatar are 3 examples where ';shura'; is either ignored in favor of democratic principles based on capitalism; or the ruling families have chosen freedom for their people, vs. the ';majority-believes-it so-it must-be-true-for-Islam'; view.
