If it is the God that gives a great deal of inspiration to Atheists, Pastafarians, Rastafarians, the original source of the ancient Greek, Roman and Norse religions, the North and South American Indian religions, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and so on, it is the same God in all cases. That one is real. You can tell by the influence on the entire world. A false one has no real influence. There are a few hundred other ways to tell, but unless I can see you are open minded enough to consider them, I will just save them.

How can I tell a real God from a false one?
Well it depends which god you believe in. No one has the right to come up to you and tell you one belief is wrong. After all, we don't really even know a god exists. So we can't say one's real and all others are fake, because there are people who believe in the ';fake'; gods. And since we are all friendly and kind people (^^), we shouldn't undermine other religions.

They say in Urdu:
';God can not be seen but identified with wisdom.';
He should be only One of His Kind.
He should have no partners, wife or children.
He should be Omniscient, Omnipotent and Omnipresent
He should be Kind, Considerate and Forgiving.
He should be Innovative, Adept and a Great Planner.
You can go on adding, but these are the minimum qualities in God so that He could run this great show.

God is indeed real. It's only when you fail to observe and seek for answers to the various signs of His Omnipotence %26amp; Omnipresence and His magnificent creations all around then he will appear to you (in your mind and heart) as being false.
Here's what you do: You take one pious member of each religion, line them all up on the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago. Push each one off one by one. The one who makes a miraculous soft landing without a scratch is the follower of the real god(s).
He proves Himself. I know that it doesn't mean a lot to some people, but then, the God that I know did not want everyone anyway.
The God that I know sent His Son, Jesus Christ to provide a way to have peace with God. And this is what He said:
7 ';But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10 in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned. So Jesus said that the Counselor will come and convince us who God is. The Counselor he was talking about is the Holy Spirit. God proves Himself to those who He wants by His Spirit. The world cannot understand this, but only those who God has chosen.

the mother only we know while we are infant. The mother introduces a man and telling that he is our father. so, accepting the mother's words we accept that man as our father.

father introduces many including teachers, God, religion etc.,
so, serially, first comes mother, then father, teacher and finally comes the God. God takes place in 4th place.

what our father worshiped, we worship. what is our father's religion is our religion. so, the God you are worshiping is the God of your family. interestingly, there is no false God. God is one. i am worshiping hindu God, christians worships jesus, muslims worships Allah. The name only changes Lord Krishna, Lord Jesus, and Lord Allah. The style of worship may differ, but the motivation will never differ. we are worshiping only one God. There is no scope for thinking of a false God. where from the false God come ? what our family doing for the past 100 years we are doing and what we are doing our children will follow. so, there is no false God. i think my explanation will help you.
The bible states that we must arm ourselves w/ God's word, to study it, to know it through and through, then there will be no mistakes when the false prophets come and try to deceive us.
