True or False: Adrian Peterson is the MVP if the Vikings make the playoffs?

I say true.True or False: Adrian Peterson is the MVP if the Vikings make the playoffs?
I doubt he wins the MVP, though I think he would deserve it if the Vikings reach the playoffs.

Think about it... the pats are stacked with talent, they would be very very good with any decent QB; but if the Vikings make the playoffs it will largely be due to Peterson.True or False: Adrian Peterson is the MVP if the Vikings make the playoffs?
For the team but not for the league. ROY tops. At 3-5(?) they have a long ways to go to even think about the playoffs.

Opps 3-6 after getting spanked by the Pack this weekend
TRUE!!
He could make MVP if Vikings win the Superbowl (highly unlikely). Rookie of the year is a much more realistic expectation.
Brady

Manning

Farve
no,but rookie of the year
Rookie of the Year, YES. MVP, NO!

Brett Favre is having a monster year in Green Bay. It may be his season again to win MVP if Green Bay continue to play like the first half of the season.

Tom Brady will win MVP in the AFC.
False. It's Brady.
False

too many other candidates to consider. however, he does have Rookie of the Year locked up.
true
It's possible, but they won't give it to him. Brett Favre is easily the MVP right now, but they will give it to Brady based on stats alone. It is supposed to be based on the difference in your team with you and without you. The Pats* may have one loss without Brady right now. The Packers would have 0 wins without Favre, so who is more valuable?
Brady is still on pace to break the single season TD record for passing and possibly go 16-0. Peterson is a great runner, but I would give the nod to Brady for doing either one of the above.
He would deserve it, but the only way that would happen is if Brady goes down with an injury and misses the rest of the season. With the numbers that Brady is putting up, he'll get the MVP. He's probably going to have the greatest statistical season for a QB in NFL history which pretty much locks up the MVP award.
The Purple Jesus is the MVP

SKOL!
If that would happen, and the Patriots do not go undefeated, then I think he would deserve it.

However, the Vikings are not making the post season. Neither are the Lions. The two wildcards will again come from the NFC East, so it is a moot point.
True. More football to play that we determine if he will win the MVP.
False, he'll be the rookie of the year but he'll have to do a lot more than take the Vikes into the playoffs to get MVP, I mean he'll have to break records every week in order to take attention off of Brady, Favre, Moss, Manning, etc. Also, making the playoffs a practically an impossibility for the Vikes this year. They have the Packers, Lions, Giants %26amp; Redskins to go still and at best they split that giving them 7 losses. I think there's a good chance that the NFC East sends three teams to the playoffs again, leaving the other three spots open for the conference champs and that's not going to be Minnesota from the NFC North.
I think Brady has locked that up for this year - he would get consideration though; along with Rookie of the Year and NFC Offensive Playor of the Year.
he'll have to get over 2000 yards to contend with Brady, Moss, and Favre.

And the Vikings might not make the playoffs: GB is likely to win the division, the Lions might get the wildcard (can you believe it?), and with the Giants winning the division (that's right, i said it) the Cowboys are gonna have to take the other wildcard.
Unfortunately, I would have to say false. I say unfortunately, because I like Peterson, but he will not get MVP regardless of what happens with Minnesota. Peterson will definitely get Rookie of the Year, no doubt. Tom Brady will more than likely get MVP when you consider his team's record and the pace in which he is throwing touchdowns.
FALSE
False, hell of a player though, and rookie of the year.
Nope, not MVP, but ROY for sure.
True but who would be the mvp if the vikes had a passing game ? Vikes wont make the playoffs this maybe when they trade for a qb.
He cant be because of a guy by the name of Tom Brady.

I would love to see A.P. win an MVP but he will soon though.
He's already been the NFL's Player of the week twice. Has anyone else done that this year?
It will probable be the QB who wins the superbowl if it is Tom B,Peyton,or Favre. If not it could be a player in one of the teams who plays in it.

Tom Brady will not recieve the MVP if he doesnt win the superbowl---- guaranteed!!!!
He would without a doubt be in the running, but you can't argue with the play of Tom Brady. He is picking apart defences easier than ever and, barring injuries, will be this year's MVP.
